Anyone else having a nightmare with OneLogin today?
Skyboard13@reddit
Yeah, been down since \~8:00 AM EST. We'ved moved our most important systems over to Google SAML. Our renewal is at the end of the year. We are not renewing.
Latest update: "We still looking. No ETA."
Skyboard13@reddit
Came back to full functionality around 4:10 PM EST. It was working but insanely slow. This morning, it's mostly working as intended. Their Chrome extension seems borked a bit but if you log in to the webportal, it works.
Management team is currently discussing how fast we can move off OL to Google for all our SSO. As stated above we will NOT be renewing with them. In fact I'll be delivering that news to them later today or tomorrow.
CrustyJebus@reddit
We're in the same situation - in the process of migrating to Google SSO and we just told OneLogin last week that we will not be renewing at the end of the year. The outages has been so frustrating!
Do you have any replacement solutions for the portal? It makes it easy for a lot of our users and Google's App Launcher is not that customizable (we're moving forward regardless)
Skyboard13@reddit
Not really but when a Custom SAML app is created in G Workspace it will appear at the very bottom of the hamburger menu in your Google apps.

And it's happening again...
Skyboard13@reddit
Yeah....been a 'fun' morning.
Skyboard13@reddit
Did anyone ever get a 'post mortem' from the August 30th outage? My management is curious if we can get some for this outage.
Skyboard13@reddit
Well fuck. They're having issues again.
Per status page (onelogin.com/status)
Jaymesned@reddit
This is account-cancelling levels of outages.

October 16, 2024 7:06 AM PDT INVESTIGATING DEGRADED PERFORMANCE Teams are investigating the ongoing issue, there is no current ETA for a resolution.
greenphlem@reddit
Yep, great way to wake up on the west coast
somegeekinacubicle@reddit
And the fun continues!

Live by the cloud, die by the cloud.

Chill by the cloud
Newt_Pulsifer@reddit
Yup, no use explaining to the customer that 500 errors on a SaaS product aren't typically things I can work on. I need to start keeping booze at my desk.
Avas_Accumulator@reddit
On the contrary, that's when you don't need the booze.
TEverettReynolds@reddit
Don't internalize this. It isn't your fault or problem. Management made the decision to use a SaaS solution. It's their problem.
Go take a walk, take a break, take a long lunch. This isn't your issue to stress over.
dmanden@reddit
Love the transparency from OL support

Finally back after about 8 hours - can't wait for this post-mortem.
Ramonooks@reddit
I been having this problem all morning, can someone explian what its happening please
Scouttsc@reddit
I have seen several colleagues with this problem, I do not have this service but my colleagues have not been able to solve it.
Goody2shoesSF@reddit
Finally stating that things are returning to normal - what a shit show
Mental_Bend_233@reddit
Ya its been so brutal today. And still not fully restored.
Auerovo@reddit
Onelogin is such a mess idk why my school even bother using it. So unfair how im trying to review notes on blackboard for my test today but can't even access my login.
More-Ad6252@reddit
Did they get hacked or something?! What's the long delay about??
Fast-Gear7008@reddit
Been trying to get off Onelogin for a while, we'll be trying harder now.
tommygunz18@reddit
Slowly coming back, was able to login now. Needs a few refreshes
Buff-Guy@reddit
Started working on us now
invisible-bear@reddit
Yes. I have been in the process of moving all of our customers from OneLogin to Entra ID this year and this was the last straw to get the rest of them out. What a mess.
Cultural-Suspect917@reddit
I'm looking to do the same for my organization. Any tips or got chas?
Likely_a_bot@reddit
We moved to Entra a few months ago. Dodged a bullet.
tommygunz18@reddit
How did you guys do it for Form based apps? SAML are the easy part
smo07e@reddit
We are also down. Was able to get an L2 engineer from overseas on a call and was told they don’t know what the problem is and to check the status page.
tommygunz18@reddit
Wow really, they can’t find the issue. It’s been 3 hours now
vilmondes-queiroz@reddit (OP)
Shit
tommygunz18@reddit
Thinking of using Entra ID instead, we already use MS
fallen_seraph@reddit
Certainly made my job easy today. Feel sorry for you IT folk though
cheesechoker@reddit
This is like the 2nd such outage from OneLogin that I can personally recall within the past year. Very cool
ThatBCHGuy@reddit
People still use this?
manmalak@reddit
Yeah, it has completely locked up my company. Not a good look for a brand new customer
Jaymesned@reddit
Today's my Monday because yesterday was Thanksgiving. It's definitely the Mondayest Tuesday I've had in a while.
thatcheesyscrub@reddit
Same
tommygunz18@reddit
Yes, most of the company is just at a standstill. Waiting on it, not seeing any progress.
dantralee@reddit
Yup.. seems to happening pretty regular now! Also have they released any new features in last 3 years? Okta has so much more now (
parkersquared@reddit
Yes.
ZippySLC@reddit
Yep. Big outage since 8AM Eastern.

polypolyman@reddit
This is in front of our accounting software (SaaS) - interestingly, it lets us in, seems to be working fully, and just... never actually loads the app.
Glad I found this thread - the support line for our accounting software is understandably busy to the point of unreachable.
ugus@reddit
mega hard down
JackSpent@reddit
Yup. The whole company is at a standstill.
