I switched from Kubuntu to OpenSuse with KDE Plasma 6 about two months ago. Works really well - and is updated very regularly. I don't think I'll be moving back any time soon.
KDE's bug tracker is a nightmare to use. I had to dig through my deleted emails to find my ticket to re-open. The bug tracker is a big reason why I rarely bother reporting bugs, sometimes it's just easier to live with the pain.
Now I feel really stupid. Although in my defense, it is written in the smallest font on the page, which made my banner blindness kick in because the tiny font is usually used for useless information on websites.
You can also create your own custom searches and save them. For example, I would frequently get frustrated by the fact that I couldn't easily see the bugs I was subscribed to, so I created a custom search for my email address in the CC list and then saved it as "Subscribed Bugs".
Just go into the Search tab, click Advanced Search, customize it, initiate the Search, then scroll down to the bottom of the search list and click "Remember Search as".
Raise a bug report regarding the bug tracker then - not joking. They triage every new bug report so at least it will get a pair of eyeballs on the issue and they will assess the impact. Point out that it has put you off reporting bugs.
A bug report about what? I don't have any one particular issue that would qualify as a bug, it's the overall experience of Bugzilla. There is no fixing that unless they were to either completely overhaul Bugzilla or swap it out for another issue tracker. Both of these are unfeasible.
It's just Bugzilla, which is standard. People have complained about it several times, but GitLab issues have already been deemed insufficient and migrating to a different bug tracking software would be a lot of work, especially considering whether or not the alternatives are actually any better is certainly up to debate.
I still say report it - otherwise it just becomes whinging. If we all take the attitude 'there's no decent solution, they won't have the manpower' then nothing will ever get solved. Once it's reported at least it's logged, and there's a central point for people to register their agreement.
I've been having cursor lag only on my external monitor in a 6.2 Wayland session on an Intel+AMD dual-graphics Laptop running Arch. Also hoping they've sorted it.
There are a couple forum threads about similar issues, most of which point to a Nvidia/Triple Buffering interaction. My case should be different, but I haven't had a chance to throw a KWIN_DRM_DISABLE_TRIPLE_BUFFERING=1 into my environment to see if it's the same problem.
I have (probably) the same problem on an AMD 7840U with no nvidia to be seen. Only on my external monitor. On a windows install I am forced to maintain on the same machine, everything works just fine.
I noticed a weird thing with 6.2 where I have a video playing on my left monitor and on my right. Mousing between them causes some kind of green static to appear for like a millisecond. Nothing that really bothers me though. Might also be when its fullscreen I can't remember.

Just tried Kubuntu 24.10 with Plasma 6.1.5. No complaints here. Won't use any other distro with KDE except Kubuntu

Oh, does KDE not work well with other distros?

There's a "All bugs reported by me" link right on the front page for the next time.

Might this reduce the cursor lag that I've experienced in both Fedora and Tumbleweed I wonder since the minute 6.2 was installed....
