I'm not smoking anything. Sure, there are many Kurds who have integrated into Turkish society, I'm not denying that. I also have no problem with Kurds or Syrians, and I don’t want to be misunderstood on that. But the truth is, there are also many Kurds who haven’t been able to integrate into Turkey. They're not just a small handful of people. Many Kurds don't know how to behave in public spaces like public transportation. Recently, a Kurd was photographed lying barefoot in the metro, which became a hot topic in the country. At the same time, everyone knows about the crimes committed in the predominantly Kurdish eastern regions due to reasons like blood feuds and "honor". Everyone is aware that the Kurdish-majority east is culturally dramatically different from the rest of the country. But for example, it's very hard to tell if a Laz or a Bulgarian immigrant is Turkish or not based on their behavior. You wouldn't know unless they told you. Most of them already see themselves as Turkish. My request from the Kurds is not for them to deny their ethnicity and see themselves as Turks, of course, but to adapt to Turkish society. But unfortunately, this isn’t the case for many Kurds. I’m not blaming only the Kurds for this, I also think the state isn’t helping them enough, but these are the facts.

Not finding certain behaviors of a culture appropriate isn’t a racist thing, but unfortunately, it's become very easy to be labeled as racist these days. Since you’ve labeled me as racist, I feel like I need to express myself more clearly.

The fact that some aspects of certain cultures may not be appropriate isn't exclusive to Kurds. For instance, I don’t find it appropriate when some Turks who have migrated to the West constantly honk on the streets after football matches or before weddings. It may be considered bothersome and inappropriate to others. I also think that many Turks who went to the West as blue-collar workers haven’t integrated well, just as I said about some Syrians and Kurds. The reason I mentioned them is that the question was about minorities in your country, and what I said is not a lie. In Arab culture, for example, people often eat with their hands, and I’m sorry, but that’s disgusting. It’s inappropriate, and saying that I don’t like it isn’t racist.

I hope I’ve explained myself better, but if I haven’t changed your mind and you still think I’m racist, there’s not much more I can do.

TBH I do not think any minority in Russia is particularly resistant to assimilation (except for maybe Roma?) but I am a minority myself so I am biased.

I'd say that North Caucasian ethnic groups are the most culturally distinct, but they are indigenous, so if anything it is good that they retain their identity.

I have met Roma who barely speak coherent Bulgarian - That 's how bad things are in some communities .Imagine living your entire life in a country ( just as your parents and their parents before them and so on ) and you still sound like you've just learnt Bulgarian . I've met such people .

And then there is the disregard for the laws of the Republic - The fact that there are still people who put meshere law above the common law we all use is just concerning.

I've met a ton of Roma who speak perfect Bulgarian and who abide by the laws we all abide by , but until that part of the population from the previous paragraphs doesn't join them ,the entirety of the Roma population will suffer from the collateral damage of their actions /behaviour .

Some Albanians have problems due to the language and some of the history, but they were always on the right side of history when it came to Montenegro. There's still some room for improvement when it comes to their status, but I feel like we are doing well now and see Albanians as a brotherly nation.

it is however a fact that the Montenegrin language was invented in 2007 or something, and this myth about ‘occupation’ is so obscure it isn’t worth delving into. You guys are an independent state, and nobody is stopping you from doing anything, including rewriting history, so what really bothers me is that 18 years after independence you still complain about Serbs and Serbia.

I find it used to be Roma but when you get into cities like Sliven or Stara zagora where well the population of roma is well over 15% in both cities they are fairly integrated compared to before when I was a kid there was a lot more disconnect but honestly doesn't feel like there is to such an extent anymore. Yes there is large slum areas that arent assimilated both inside and outside those cities but I would guarantee its less than half of what it was 10 years ago or so most of these people just happen to live in those poorer areas a lot of them work inside the city cores.
