Hello to all. I have question and hope I will get some help from you guys. Right now, I'm using AMD Ryzen 5 3400G and want to upgrade to a better CPU. I'm considering AMD Ryzen 5 5600X or AMD Ryzen 7 5800X3D or should I go for AMD Ryzen 5 3600. Which one should I buy, and will any of these fits well into my configuration which is:
MB: Gigabyte B450 Aorus M
GPU: Gainward GeForce GTX 1080 Phoenix
RAM: Adata 32GB (2x16) XPG Spectrix D35G DDR4 3200Mhz CL16
PSU: CHIEFTEC CTG-750C 750W A80 series
Drives: 1 SSD (512 GB) + 2 HDD (320GB + 1TB, both 3.5'' 7200 RPM).

5600/x or 5700x3d would be the two main choices if gaming is the priority

And I suppose I must update BIOS to the latest version or just to the one which supports Ryzen 5000 series?

Unless you get a mobo that's been collecting dust for like... 2 years, it'll have an updated bios

5700X3D, its much cheaper and only 5-6% slower than the 5800X3D.
