Crazy how some of these Middle Eastern gun markets have these rare items pop up that would be worth insane amounts in the US.

The only reason some of those guns are worth insane amounts in USA, is because of the arbitrary gun laws that USA has.
"Oh sure, you can have select fire guns but only if they were built before year X or if you it is a sample or whatever. ...and these guns with specific names and features are banned, despite more dangerous guns still being legal and easy to obtain."
Just get rid of the 2nd amendment and make gun ownership a priviledge so that you won't need these weird and nonsensical laws. 90% of the weird restrictions exist because USA or some specific state is not allowed to control the one thing that matters: "which people are allowed to have guns and how do they prove that they can own them."

Even without stupid laws an original Type 2 would fetch a lot of money here. There just aren't that many of them floating around seventy years later. Obviously the laws on the books make it far worse, but this isn't a rifle that would be cheap here in the states regardless.
