This is a bit of a pet peeve for me. I'm not from an English speaking country and if I see a team is using our language instead of English in code I can't take them seriously.
One should use the language of the domain. It makes a lot of sense to have German named variables, because if the word is more complicated than "green" than there will be different translations for the same thing in the same codebase, and all of them will be wrong.
Use the language of the domain! For most projects, that's, English, though.
Not to mention the worst possible example taken to ridiculous levels.
The sample he takes has comments for every function, even the ones where the code makes it obvious what it does (istVerfügbar -> isAvailable). If there weren't so many comments, the different language would not be such an issue since it mainly comes down to function and variable names.
In fact, no human would bother writing so many comments.
If you write at the top that it's satire, and the rest reads like obvious sarcasm, then it actually creates more confusion because now I don't know if this is satirizing people who complain about programming in satirical style.

He meant that shitty artwork. If you know everyone hates it, why do you still use AI images?@
pojska@reddit
Hey buddy, I make no claims about the contents of your article. I didn't bother to read it, because AI art is usually followed by worthless blogspam.

Nein.
TheRealAfinda@reddit
Ah yes, the racism take on different languages.
Code automatically being bad, because the author doesn't speak the language.
And then tries to guise that as funny.
averageFlux@reddit
Bullshit, he is German
TheRealAfinda@reddit
Ahh yes. Because you can't act racist against other germans as a german. Gotcha.
Bullshit.
