Do you know the history of the LTTE? In sri Lanka Tamil people were being oppressed and killed by the Sinhalese majority. Government policy was aimed at harassing tamils and making their lives worse. The LTTE started out as a guerilla force in response to state sanctioned violence. India has a lot of Tamil people living inside of it and it was against Sri lankas brutality against Tamil people and hence was sympathetic towards the LTTE. So yeah India wanted to help the tamil people and so helped the LTTE . It wasn't until later that the ltte started to cause trouble towards India that the IPKF was deployed and the Indian army took a stance against the ltte, treating them as terrorists. The ltte was labelled as a terrorist organisation by India after all this happened.

As for Pakistan, yes obviously India has covert operations in pakistan which violate it's sovereignty. India and Pakistan have been archenemies ever since they started existing. India has been trying to counter efforts in pakistan by the ISI and find terrorists and kill them. Did you know that dozens of ISI linked people have been killed in pakistan? Alright, from your flair I can figure you might not have a clue about the whole issue. I'll give you the benefit of the doubt and explain in brief.

The Khalistani movement is an obviously Pakistan instigated separatist movement for a separate Punjab nation. The reason I call it Pakistan instigated is that the entire movement is hilariously stupid. They want a separate Punjab nation, but only from the Punjab that is controlled by India. Pakistan controls a much bigger portion of Punjab, but Khalistanis don't want that.

Anyways, the movement reached its peak in the 1980s. In 1981, one of its leaders killed someone in India and ran to Canada. India asked the Canadian government to extradite him. The Canadians refused. Justin Trudeau's dad was the prime minister back then.

So this guy goes ahead and blows up an aircraft full of 329 Canadians. You would think the Canadians would be outraged and take strict action against him and his organization. But Justin's dad decided that if he acts now against them, he would look weak because of his previous decisions. So instead, they botched the investigations. Only 1 guy was convicted, and that too on only a manslaughter charge. He's now free from prison and living as a free man in Canada.

Needless to say, these actions of the Canadian have emboldened Khalistanis. Nijjar's organizations have repeatedly called for similar attacks. Nijjar himself called for targeted attacks against Indian diplomats. He printed names and addresses of these diplomats and incited Khalistanis in Canada to attack them.

The Indian government repeatedly asked Canada to extradite Nijjar. They refused.

Nijjar was killed in what was initially declared as a gang was by Canada. Subsequently, Justin has seen multiple setbacks to his government and needed a scapegoat to distract from his own domestic shortcomings. Hence, this entire fiasco.

I mean i agree with this. The proper way to do things is go via formal channels and make extradition requests. Did you know that India and Canada actually have an extradition treaty in place?
