MK theatre, 2 cinemas, ski slope, ice skating, indoor sky diving, bowling, escape rooms, the stables theatre, 2 decent small music venues, beautiful parkland with surprising history attached to them, casino, indoor mini golf, indoor go carting, national badminton centre, mk dons, ice hockey.
There's probably something for you somewhere in mk.

Ice hockey, football, nature trails, indoor ski slope and indoor skydiving (a bit dear but may be able to expense it).
Depending on where your work puts you up there may be a lake to enjoy nearby with pubs.
There are music venues (MK11, Crauford Arms and unit 9) depending on the night it may be to your taste.
There's a boardgame/tabletop cafe that's usually open to late.
Keep in mind this is a London commuter city and most places are shut by 10 am on weekdays.

Depends... If you're in your early 20s and want nightlife, then yep. For a young family with a newborn baby (or those that have grown out of partying all the time), it's just fine.

The train to London.
The climbing gyms here are nice, the ski slope is also a cool novelty though I haven't been myself. Plenty of nice running routes if that's your thing.

Ice hockey is well worth it, if there's a game on while you are here. They mostly happen on Saturdays
