Someone once said on another post that the reason B&B sound so much more clever during the music videos is because they're actually interested in and engaged with that subject. It's probably the same logic.

What I always wondered was how and when they learned to read in the first place. It's like there was a point where their teacher was able to get through to them. But then something came along, and it was just over after that.

Honestly, if the teachers at Highland High were any good at their jobs, they would have picked up on the fact that Butthead is perfectly capable of reading complex sentences when they are sexual in nature.
