there is just one thing i don't understand,

these Spirits/ghosts take over Data, O'Brien and Troi,

im not sure why im even asking this, while im typing it down, it sounds even more ridiculous,

oke here it goes.

It seems somewhat logical that these spirits/ghosts can infiltrate the human bodies (i feel crazy for even typing this down), But how can they take over Data, an Android in the same way as the humans?
