Best outdoor-oriented place(s) for a 10-14 day trip in SA?

Hi all, toying with the idea of a trip to South America in the next 3 months or so. Lived in Buenos Aires for 5 months so I’ve hit Patagonia and absolutely loved it- my first thought was honestly just to go back there, but it seems silly when I haven’t seen any other part of the continent! I’m more into hiking/exploring than I am city life, but am open to anything. Immediate thoughts were the Galapagos and Peru (Machu Picchu), but I realized Machu Picchu is better done in the spring. I’d be leaving from the east coast of the US. The cheaper the better (obviously), but I’m willing to spring for an excursion or something if it’s worth it. Thank you all!
