Then, Isuzu thought of launching a convertible version of the Vehicross, called the Isuzu VX-2, and why not, they also thought of launching a 4-door version called the Isuzu VX-4.
they turn up for sale quite often around me, same drive train as my o1 rodeo had which was damn reliable. i beat the snot out of that poor thing for 15 years and it still ran perfect when i sold it. one for sale thats red, looks much better then the silver color.
one of my girlfriends I had when I was in high school had a father who owned one and I rode in it a couple times. My first car was a 99 trooper and that made me want a vehicross even more.

I’m currently looking at a few different ones. I may pull the trigger and buy one of them.

Isuzu had another SUV a bit bigger than this around the same time that was also a style leader. Much more angular.

Jeep copied the look of the Vehicross with their Cherokee Trailhawk - right down to the matte finish hood treatment.

It's probably one of my favorite cars, I just love this weird visual of the VehiCROSS
