I think the Viper PST II is a bit better, but it weighs significantly more and usually costs $500 + a mount.

The $800+ range is another incremental step up with the Delta Stryker, Trijicon Credo, and Razor G2 offering Japanese glass and reasonable weights.

Unless you're competing or using your optic professionally, the Nova 1-6x with Warne mount is probably the best budget LPVO optic you can get right now. Warne has been my go-to mount for years, and PA has really been on a roll with their optical designs.

I would buy this, and if you decide to upgrade in the future, this makes a great backup or .22LR optic.

Durability, image clarity in poor conditions, overall quality & repeatability.

If you are content with a $30 optic, more power to you. Personally, I don't see any optics sub $300 (with rare exceptions) as worth my time or money. If I'm on a tight budget, I'll get a ~$100 red dot from Holosun, Vortex, or Sig and call it good.

Depends on what you value. If daylight a bright red dot is high on your list then you can’t beat the slx nova, but after trying it out I switched back to my $400 vortex viper pst gen II. Made in the Philippines w/ a lifetime warranty and the glass clarity is just a tier above but you probably can’t tell unless they’re side by side. C_Does compares the two in his video review
