Need to get this off of my chest.

Okay so, I’m almost 19, and a brand new driver. I got my learners license about a month ago and till now, I was confident I’ve been doing well. Today I was trying to go to my uncles house, and I knew the way I wanted to go by heart, but my great grandma wanted me to go a different way. Well, we went through a dip in the road, and I was in the left lane, and I needed to get to the right lane to turn. Well, my great grandma yells “YOURE IN THE WRONG LANE” and I’m already stressing so I start to say “give me a sec-“ and then all of the sudden she yelled “TURN NOW!!” So basically out of panic I just turn right. Im in the left lane, no signal, no checking, I just turned out of pure instinct to get her to stop yelling. About halfway through the turn I see a car that was in the right lane next to me speeding right for us, so I gas it to finish the turn. Luckily, I didn’t hit them and they didn’t hit me, but I know I pissed them off and I scared everyone and I feel like shit about it. This is genuinely the biggest fuck up I’ve done so far. I know it’s entirely my fault as the driver, I just need to know if something similar has happened to anyone else?
