"I love you" 💚 We had a surprise kiddo in our 40s. She's now almost 3 and I still play this for her. And the dollhouse kittens. Me and my Llama. Feliz Navidad. The Aliens discovering new (outdated) stuff. That Electric Company pinball counting song with The Pointer Sisters. Kiddo is getting a Rainbow Brite doll for her upcoming birthday 🌈

The dollhouse kittens can make me cry instantly.

YOU TOO?! I thought I was the only one. It's like a family story about me, how I used to sob when it came on even though it contained all my favorite things (dollhouses, kittens, music).

Yep, me too! There’s one that’s even worse. Even thinking or talking about it gets me all leaky. Remember Ernie’s song about how he doesn’t *really* want to go live on the moon or in the sea, because he would miss all the places and people he loves? Excuse me. *sniff*

Classic and funny! Kermit is ageless, and Joey still needs to 8 to 10 years for Social Security.

My husband and I went to The Center for Puppetry Arts the other day in Atlanta. They have a great exhibit on Jim Henson and, right now, a special exhibit on Fraggle Rock. I highly recommend it. It will give you all the feels. https://preview.redd.it/p5aq90mlk4ud1.jpeg?width=1440&format=pjpg&auto=webp&s=0c596114fa521a2791973342837131ff3102bf7e

I don't know. This 48 year old got a case of the giggles watching it too. Then again, I laughed for a good five minutes after the fart joke at the beginning of Teen Titans GO! to the Movies, so maybe I'm not a good judge of what's funny or not.

Fart jokes were the first jokes ever told. They will always be funny and anyone who thinks otherwise is objectively wrong.

I, too, like to randomly blurt out "cookie monster", especially during staff meetings or communion.

Jim Henson was brilliant, he was only 53 when he died of a staph infection.

I watched this as a youngster. I watched this with my kiddos when they were youngsters. Mabye someday I'll watch it with grandkids when they're youngsters.

Growing up as a kid in the 70’s was different. We were being taught by the hippie teachers who actually believed the ideals set forth in the 60’s. Things like this is why I’m still a liberal today even though I’m over 50 years old.
