Springfield Prodigy Comp 5” VS Walther pdp Match SF

So I’m looking to purchase my first “competition” pistol, and I’m between 2 firearms: the Springfield Prodigy Comp 5” or the Walther PDP Match SF. I am looking for reliability, accuracy, and overall shooting experience. Does anyone have any experience with these? I know they’re 2 different platforms, but I wanted to hear from the Reddit experts! TIA

I’ve shot multiple Prodigies and PDPs, but not those exact models.
PDP without a doubt is the better of the two. It’s a top end striker instead of a bottom end 2011.

Haven’t shot either of these firearms, I wouldn’t have the slightest clue! I do appreciate your input. It seems that the prodigy is good if you exchange all internals, which I don’t have the experience with .

I’m glad I read your post because I’m thinking about the two. Love the 1911 look trigger and grip but the PDP reg is the ish so the SF I know is something serious.

So not the Prodigy
