enabling xmp causes bsod and crashes

Hi, I'm a complete noob on this topic but I recently got an i5-13600kf and a DDR5 7600Mhz 16x2. My motherboard is an Asus Z790-A . With XMP disabled, bios shows the frequency is 5100Mhz but enabling it will randomly cause bsod or freezes my pc.
The memory specifications for i5-13600kf on the Intel website shows that - Memory Types: Up to DDR5 5600 MT/s, Up to DDR4 3200 MT/s. Does this mean that the maximum frequency that my pc can reach is 5600Mhz?
Any help is appreciated. Thank you.

7600mhz is pretty damn high.
I'd try something like 6000mhz cl30 or 6400 cl32 first.

Also make sure your ram is in slots 2 and 4 (left to right).

Did that. Thanks for the advice

5600MHz is max officially support. Although, many can run above that, but it’s not guarantee.
7600 seems to be too high. Try lower.
