Favorite TV shows that you can't (legally) find on DVD or streaming?

Though not an 70s, 80s or 90s show, mine is Ed, from the early 2000s. It ran for 4 years but I have never found it in either format. The common reason I've seen in online discussions is music rights issues.
What are your childhood-eaelu adulthood favorites that, for whatever reason, you can't find out there?

Murphy Brown. I’ve looked and looked. Apparently, it is too expensive to license all the music they used.

Loves that show back in the day! Looking back, it seems like kind of an unusual show to like in high school, but then I've always been an old soul.
Did you catch the reboot and what did you think? I thought it was just meh.

I didn’t catch the reboot. Your response makes me glad I missed it. I don’t want anything to tarnish my memory! lol

Tales From the Crypt. Why is this not streaming on some service?

For some reason, I can’t find The Wonder Years. I don’t know if Canadians ever know why we don’t have certain things, but TV content seems to mostly be controlled by Bell. CBC sold off a ton of their original programming… we get more from the USA generally but it’s patchy. Now Prime plays games and will have “select” seasons but you always seem to have to buy another subscription for complete series.

I've obtained the eps by "other means," but something official would be great.

Northern Exposure! I miss it so!

All posts MUST be pertinent to GenX.
This includes non-specific ramblings, any sort of conspiracy theories, that have nothing to do with GenX, or posts about people who happen to be GenX…and that’s it.

Third Watch - always been unavailable for purchase due to the music rights. Recently found out it’s available to stream on Tubi.

The Comic Strip Presents.

Super common reason with stuff going to streaming unfortunately. Dream On from HBO in the early 90s used a ton of old film/tv clips in it. I’m assuming they just didn’t bother trying for streaming. Apparently it was quite difficult to negotiate when it originally aired
EnergyCreature@reddit
Dream On is awesome and I started seeing that too young because art imitates life.
I'll add Red Shoe Diaries.
79killingtime@reddit
Yeah I was definitely a bit too young as well

Ed & David Letterman’s shows. NBC/Worldwide Pants ☹️

Loved Ed! When it went off the air, I went to the location in New Jersey (the bowling alley) where they where they were auctioning off parts of the set.
If they could ever get the streaming rights to the music they used, I would love to watch it again.
