How any American could find him guilty let alone an entire jury had me convinced the bill of rights is doomed and I will see it fall in my lifetime. If by "point at a house" you mean get their agent and your agent to talk to each other, recognize a loan provider, draw up the paper work, and then send a notary to you to sign a stack of papers while waiting to see if your bank's wire transfer for the down payment completes. Admittedly, my home is worth significantly less than $1 million, but even up to $600,000 it seems anything less than 15% down also requires payment insurance, and anything less than 10% is going to make loan providers either very nervous or more likely to say to find someone else.

We have the laptop from hell with pics of him actually using drugs, texts from him to others about using drugs, and if I remember correctly from the initial handgun story Hailey Biden told him he needed to go to rehab when she defended throwing his gun in a dumpster by a school. Now rehab is vague and could mean any kind of rehab, but I think for Hunter it would be far easier to piece together then your average Joe. Because he documented his own drug use so much.

As somebody who has privately sold a firearm, I would have loved to be able to run a basic background check on the person I was selling to, but I also understand why that would be a logistical nightmare and I dont want want a registration of who owns what anywhere in the hands of the government. I've been racking my brain to find something that will solve the undeniable gun-death problem we do have here in the states that also allows for us evil gun-lovers to enjoy the freedom we hold so dear. I'm in a constitutional carry state, but I took courses anyway because it's the smart thing to do and I think it should probably be mandatory. I know people personally who own firearms and if they got their shit taken away, i'd just be sitting here like "yeah, that makes sense". No wonder some people think nobody should own guns. My experience in my CCW course nearly made me anti-gun with all the chucklefucks in the course who didn't know a fucking thing about the deadly tools they tucked into their uncle mikes.

This is the opinion I want to see more of; While I can... understand (and agree with some of) the point of Constitutionalists repeating "SHALL NOT BE INFRINGED", I sure as fuck don't want violent felons to be in possession of a firearm, which would fall under an "infringement on the (felon's) rights".  What we absolutely, unquestionably have in the US, is a mental health crisis and an undereducation crisis. Let's just say that I am **very** afraid of a venn diagram where **gun ownership overlaps with flat-earthers**, but that's the situation we're at and we **HAVE to fight for this overlapping group** to **prevent our rights from eroding away** even further.  But alas, improving the entire population's education and mental health is not cheap, and it's not something you can feasibly accomplish in a 4 or 8-year cycle, so it's easier to go for a more specific, politically divided tactic of "let's get guns gaiz".

if any normal person failed to pay the government $1.2 million in taxes, we'd be paying it back, with penalties, and writing the check from a jail cell. tax evasion is like the one crime the government does not let slide, no less a firearms felony. Years ago my home state of Kentucky granted an amnesty period for anyone who hadn't paid their taxes over 10 years, regardless of wealth. They had to pay a fraction of what they owed, and the fees were waived. It was cheaper than trying to collect from every person who refused to comply since they obviously had no interest in paying, and some of them did come into compliance after the deal was announced.
