Looks like a broken cetacean skull looking from the underside. The bit circled would be the upper jaw but most of it has broken away with much of the rest missing too. Essentially looking at the top of the skull from the underside. Hope that makes sense!

Oh yeah that makes sense thanks! I thought it might be a skull but the way it’s oriented is confusing

Been caught out myself like this before. Skulls can look crazy odd from the wrong angle and especially with bits missing! Now thinking that makes me sound weird, lol. To clarify, I work in cetacean strandings 😂.
