Have you ever had an ‘unusual’ experience?

When I was seventeen I worked in a cafe. A customer came in, looked like someone backpacking(on account of his sturdy shoes and big backpack). Anyway we got talking, he asked about the area and I handed him his coffee. As he was walking out he turned back and said “Cliffy” my name wasn’t on anything like a name badge or anything. I just answered to my name but he handed me a tenner and said words similar to “you’re a good person Cliffy, you deserve this, take care of yourself” I never saw him again after that. A few weeks later my gran was dying, she kind of raised me so I was a huge thing for me. Anyway long story short I tried to get the first bus I could to the hospital. Driver asked for the bus fair and it was the strangers tenner I used to pay for the bus. I made it to the hospital, I held my grans hand as she passed away. If I’d had to run around trying to scrape cash together she would have died before I got there.
