Should I get a 1080p or a 1440p monitor ?

Hi guys. I recently built a pc with 7800x3d and 7800xt. Apart from coding, I mainly play Warzone. And secondly EAFC and I would like to discover also AAA games but I was planning to buy a 43 inches 4K tv for that. I’m shared now regarding the monitor, should I get a 1080p 240hz or a 1440p 165hz ? Why would you choose one over the other ? Thanks for answering in advance. Would you please also recommend me a way to set the tv and the monitor as well ? Thanks

If your willing to pay the price I would go 1440 because of the better quality however 1080 will still look pretty good

Since wz is a performance game I was thinking a 240hz would be able to show the fps in 1080p

I would still go with the 1440 p

Don’t make your experience significantly worse in literally everything else for a marginal gain in Warzone

1080p 240 hz is for competitive gaming, if you aren't that competitive get the 1440 p 165 hz. It's still an amazing monitor.

1440 easily, that hardware can easily get high fps. 165hz monitor minimum

Get a 1440p monitor. The higher resolution is SO much better

Thank you very much how do you think I should line it up with the TV I mentioned ?

I don’t really understand your question?

I’d like to pair a monitor ( either 2k or 1080p ) With a 4K 43” tv I’m still confused on how I should line them up ( stacked , or wall mounted tv with a arm desk for the monitors , or whatever)
DardS8Br@reddit
Idk, that’s completely up to you. I don’t know what your room looks like
As an aside, 2k is 1080p

1440p
It looks better. Way better for coding / non gaming.
Frame rate is more than high enough at 165 Hz

In 1080p I’m gettingmore than 220fps do you think it’s useless for fps? It
Rough-Donkey-747@reddit
Not sure what you are asking me, but I would choose the 1440p option

Sorry man I don't understand
You are asking for advice on where to position the monitor and TV?
I don't live in your house. Do whatever you want.
Why would anyone ask for advice on where to put their monitor and TV?
