It's on practically every book retailer and available as an audiobook on Google Play and I'm sure AppStore aswell.
Questions that are asked nearly daily on this sub are answered in this book.

I just read this on my recent vacation and it was a great read.
This coming from a guy who struggles to get through any sort of book. I couldn't put this down.

It's great. It also answers a lot of myths.

Has anybody got the "new" chapter of this book so I could read it? I bought the book (hardback) when it came out. I was a bit disappointed when a new edition was made with an additional chapter, I thought it was a pretty low move.
mr_greenmash@reddit
Huh? Is there a new chapter? Ive had the book for a long time, but newer heard of it

Yes, when he published the paperback version of the book he added an epilogue which goes over the transition from TG to TGT and how he got involved. Here is the table of content of the book on Amazon: https://i.imgur.com/yoN7zyw.png

Love his and Jonny’s podcast, I’ll have to give this a listen

I've only read the book. But I'm sure Richard mentioned once on the podcast or one of their videos from before the podcast that he only voiced the foreword of the audiobook, but had plans to voice the entire book. I think he said he found it much more difficult to voice than he first thought.

Johnny should read it in his “back in the day” voice
Boundish91@reddit (OP)
60s man? Or back in the day and all that?
Imagine reading it in Harpal the "Prelude 2.2 yeah" guy voice lol.
If you haven't watched the prelude 2.2 yeah video on YouTube i recommend it.

I laugh more than I should at the sentence "you've never seen a rev counter do what it did"

Maybe a new voice for every chapter, lol. I usually only listen to the cast, thanks for the vid

Found a copy at Goodwill for 25 cents. Well worth it!

I just bought one off eBay for $26. It should be waiting for me when I get home from work tomorrow. Looking forward to reading it during my time off next week!

Still shocked he did not say it on the final episode!
katchaa@reddit
I assumed that it was a phrase "owned" by Top Gear, similar to The Stig character.

It’s such a good book. 100% recommend everyone reads it.

+1 on this. It's a fantastic book. It's available on Audible too.

Richard Porter was basically the fourth Beatle equivalent of the TG/TGT trio. Him and Andy Wilman were very much the creative glue
