Band you have come around on?

Yeah, I was heavily into the thrash thing in the early to mid 80s in high school. We had a flourishing little underground scene in the mid-sized city I lived in at the time. But for the longest time I used to always think and say that I hated MTV crap, but that wasn't quite true. In retrospect I've realized it was the MTV of the late 80s and beyond I didn't like. When the "suits" discovered how much money they could make with it and everything on it became so blandly, slickly over-produced. I've realized that I do have quite the soft spot for the stuff from the first few years, most of which had a very scruffy, rough around the edges charm to it. Stuff like the Split Enz vids they had, Nick Lowe - Cruel To Be Kind, Numan of course, the early Seagulls, Don't You Want Me Baby. All those videos with the cheap looking cable access TV special effects and hell, even early Go-Gos and Lauper stuff, why not...
