Colombia, Peru, or Brazil for 10 days in December/January?

Hey! Planning to visit SA around Christmas and New Years (from the PNW of the US). Where would you recommend spending 10 days during December?
Leaning towards Colombia as it’ll be warmer and more dry than Peru. Thinking that I would like to visit Brazil when I have more than 10 days available.
What are your thoughts!?

Cusco is the most interesting and historically significant city in all of South America it would be stupid to not go there. That place was not built by normal man, they must have had some devine help. Go to Cusco it will absolutely blow your mind how crazy the history and surrounding areas are.

Hard disagree. I have spent around a month in Cusco and did love it. However December will be cold and wet.
Colombia is my vote. It is an incredible country with so much to see.

In your opinion, what is better between Cartagena and Bogota? We are already going to Medellin and salerno

Just depends entirely on what you want. Cartagena isn’t great bogota is better if it’s just cities. But Cartagena is on the beach. Hot sunny weather, beaches, tayrona park, some islands and boating.
Bogota is not near the coast. I sort of recommend cattleman if you have a few days to explore because I think it will be more different then Medellin
