Finally found one. 1979 C30 3+3 dually. Factory a/c cab with crank windows and dual tanks, Scottsdale package. Already has a 6.0 LS in it and running Holley Terminator.

Make sure that tune on the Terminator is good and not just "learning". You'll destroy that motor in a couple hundred miles.

eh, that learn mode is pretty conservative. During a hill climb event we were messing with my friend's tune and lost it. ended up sending it up the hill with safeties like boost cut and rev limiter turned on and just let it figure itself out. that was last season.

Yea not sure the shade on the autotuning feature. Doubt these guys even have dealt with it.
stupidis_stupidoes@reddit
I literally have 2 terminator ECU’s sitting in my garage right now. You don’t know what you’re talking about
RPE10Ben@reddit
Sick, I can buy things and not use them too. I tune my own engines and have used that autotune feature with success. It’s great. You’d be a fool to think otherwise.
stupidis_stupidoes@reddit
They’re literally in my car. You aren’t a good tuner if you rely on that ridiculous wizard base setup and autotune feature to ensure your car runs correctly. I’ve personally witnessed them wash out engines multiple times as most people who use them don’t really know what they’re doing. I’m warning OP and obviously for good reason as there are still people like you who think it’s a safe bet and it simply isn’t.

Who said I only use the autotune feature, Jackass? What do you think the process of tuning is and how the autotune feature works? It’s the same fuckin thing. A person sees if the AFRs read high or low based on the target AFR at a specific load and that persons manually adjusts the VE value until it’s at the target. Wow, it’s almost like that can be easily automated by some form of automatic tuning feature. Don’t have a fucked tune with a lot of boost and use the autotune feature at WOT. Do I need to explain further or are you not as stupid as you look?
rudbri93@reddit
even after dyno tuning i was advised to leave it on. Its not making huge changes, but half the point of fuel injection is that it can mold itself to varying conditions.
RPE10Ben@reddit
Exactly. Autotune in Tunerstudio got my AFRs looking beautiful in a few miles just driving around. Makes street tuning an absolute breeze.

Yea Ive put terminator X on 3 cars so far and its been handy as hell. they really went a good ways to making user friendly.
Nitro-XS@reddit
Seems aptly fitting for a terminator.
HomerDodd@reddit
Awesome.
Personally I’d have built a 496 and put a 4L80 with the E in it. But sweet none the less.
LoseyMcLoseFace@reddit (OP)
Personally I dont have 7 grand to build an engine
HomerDodd@reddit
I understand that for sure. I’d like to tell you it didn’t cost that much… but I stopped keeping track so I wouldn’t know.

You hate trucks? What a bizarre opinion
Thestrongestzero@reddit
make sure you buy a hole saw so you can fab up a place for a fleshlight insert.
that truck clearly fucks. and if you don’t assert dominance early on, just cut yourself.

Gen 3 swaps make so many old trucks so much more usable.
