Any reviews for Acer Predator X32QFS, and any other 32" 4k monitor recommendations?

I've been looking for a new monitor and narrowed it down to wanting a 32" UHD monitor. I'm doing a mix of gaming and office type work, so I would prefer LCD over OLED to avoid potential burn-in issues when working.
I have seen the Acer Predator X32QFS on sale a few times here in Sweden, and it looks to have good specs, but I have not found any real reviews for it.
I don't know if I'm just being extra bad at searching for it, but however I search for it I just find press release information about the X32QFS, but all the reviews that show up are for the X32FP.
Normally I would chalk this up to a difference in model name between Europe and other regions, which seems to happen a lot and trips me up when searching for reviews. But the X32FP has 576 dimming zones, while the X32QFS has 1152 zones, so I know it's not the same monitor. Still, I only find actual tests on the FP-model, so if anyone has seen any reviews of the QFS I would be very grateful.
I'm particularly interested in how it handles colors. I edit videos sometimes and would love some color accuracy. It's not professionally, just YouTube as a hobby, so it doesn't need to be super accurate - but I know that a lot of gaming monitors go really over saturated. And I don't even know who made the panel for the X32QFS, I've just seen speculations posted on the press releases for it.
I am very open to other suggestions though, I've just been searching for X32QFS reviews because I saw it at a good price. But I have also seen for instance the LG UltraGear 32GR93U for the equivalent of $150 less than the X32QFS. This one I have found in depth reviews for and for a gaming display it seems very good color-wise, but it also has no actual HDR-capabilities. HDR isn't critical for me (I would only use it in HDR when playing games, not for other tasks I use the monitor for) but it's a value add worth the price difference for me if the Acer-monitor is good in other respects.
So if anyone knows any information on the Acer-monitor (with actual tests, not just the on-paper specs from the manufacturer) it'd be wonderful.

Has anybody tried it now?

Everything is already in the comments. This monitor is very good. Better than all 4K LCD monitors currently available.
cosmos-ghost@reddit
Late comment- but I just brought this monitor purely for use with ps5 pro; how is it treating you; a quick review about your long-term experience will be mighty helpful.
redditinchina@reddit
Mine broke with flashing lines at the bottom. Overall a very good monitor but not as good as the gen 1 screens. I had an x27p that failed but that monitor was much more colorful

Hey late comment. Had it for a 2.5 months mine had factory defect on mother board or smth. Couldn’t change brightness it was always on 1000%, my eyes were bleeding. Overall good colors and speed. Was kinda too big for me and mini led was okay but can’t compare with apples mini leds. Definitely needs higher mini led count for less blooming and better blacks. My anxiety couldn’t handle oleds burn in that’s why I bought this one for mixed usage. Overall, best for its price and features on market but needs more work to be perfect.

Cool thanks gonna buy it then, were the problems solved about hdr switch?
No_Calligrapher2508@reddit
HDR works on this monitor under Windows. I had no problems with the monitor because I simply switched on the HDR option on the PC and PS5.
Ok-Bowler-842@reddit
Can you e.g. set different brigntess for hdr and sdr modes in the same preset so when you switch it automatically changed?
redditinchina@reddit
Just adding this for internet history as I have one.l and now two.
Had the X27P with 512 dims before. This is a much better screen. The colours are much better and it appears brighter even with less FALD at 512
The 32 is much cheaper though, doesn’t have the shrouds and doesn’t have the same colour brightness. There is a much more expensive model that I don’t have which might be the same but the x32q seems like a downgrade
Overall though it is a great monitor. Mine broke after 11 months with flashing lines at the bottom. It does get hot so I wonder if the passive cooling is an issue

I'm in the same situation as you, very interested in this monitor but there is no information about FS anywhere. Given how the x32 FP was received, FS is supposed to be a direct upgrade with double the dimming zones. I'm actually going to order it this week to give it a try.
My use case is PS5 + mac though.

I’m also interested in it, can’t find any reviews for it other than the Belgian or German amazon site (I don’t remember) having one customer review.
It sounds like a huge upgrade over the FP model, which is the only model getting reviews it seems. Idk it worries me about not finding any reviews on it. I also couldn’t find any QFS firmware updates/info on Acer’s site (FP does have), so I’m worried about Acer neglecting it lol
I want a monitor for productivity and work, together with median consumption (not gaming) - still want good picture quality, 4k and high refresh rate. This one and the Lenovo Y32P-30 , the other monitor I’m considering, have a KVM switch which is awesome (I WFH so it would be super useful)
Yeah idk what to do tbh lol
Please share your thoughts about it if you end up getting it

I did some more research, looks like this Acer, Benq EX321UX, and Philips Evnia 32M2N6800M all use the same panel. Don't think we'll get any better MiniLED options this year. I bought Philips, as it is the best tuned with the least amount of issues it seems. It was also cheaper in my area. It doesn't have USB C Power Delivery so I had to buy a dock as well, but it still was cheaper than the alternatives.

Hi Smideri, would you mind sharing your opinion on the monitor from Philips? Do you notice the PWM flicker that some reviews mention? How is it after prolonged usage? Does the FALD perform well ? Would you recommend it for mixed usage? Thx a lot in case you find the time to answer!

Monitor is absolutely great, if you’re not into OLEDs (I envy the options for glossy display). Very bright, amazing color pop. HDR content looks very good. Settings feel very reasonable, you can change them depending on the source. I’m very sensitive for any kind of smudging, lagging (I can’t play at <60fps), with the „response time” set to FASTER it feels very smooth and snappy without any visible artifacts.
For PS5 its very good, on par with my miniled TV. Supports all the things like VRR, 120Hz and just looks right.
For desktop use, I like that it runs 144Hz with mac. Cons: you do see some blooming if you activate local dimming to high, quite substantial actually if you approach the monitor from an angle and it displays a content with a lot of blacks and a few bright spots (like dark mode youtube comment section). You can always disable if for desktop use, but I don’t mind it that much.
It’s also quite bulky and I wish it has a glossy display over the matte one. But overall I’m very happy with it, couldn’t find anything better, I’m definitely keeping it for longer.

Just for gaming purposes (and maybe occasional movie) with PS5 Pro, is X32 QFS good choice?
M_Dutch97@reddit
I'm thinking about buying the Philips but maybe you can help me with some of my questions :)

Thx Simderi for your input much appreciated!

Hello, I tested the monitor. I immediately noticed the PWM backlight. The X32QFS does have a very slight background flicker, but it is nowhere near as bad as the BenQ BenQ EX321UX, Asus Rog Swift PG32UQXR or Samsung Neo G8 with mini LED. Which I also had. If you only want to play with the monitor, then I can tell you that this monitor is the brightest and fastest of all 4K LCD monitors
IshayM@reddit
Thanks for the info, it’s unavailable where I am, I think I’ll just end up getting the Lenovo Y32P-30
Enjoy the Philips

It is extremely fast at 60 Hz. You can set the overdrive level to maximum without getting ghosting or anything else. I played God of War with the monitor. And the monitor really is the best of many monitors. I have tested over 21 monitors. This Acer X32QFS is perhaps the fastest of all 4K LCD monitors. By the way, HDR in Windows also works here. But what bothers me a bit is the fact that I can't work from home with the monitor. Due to eye fatigue. Unfortunately I can't say what could cause this, but it is what it is. Maybe slight background flickering, but it is nowhere near as bad as the BenQ BenQ EX321UX, Asus Rog Swift PG32UQXR or Samsung Neo G8 with mini LED.

Just for gaming purposes (and nothing else) with PS5 Pro, is X32 QFS good choice?
IshayM@reddit
Thanks a lot, probably the second review of this monitor I’ve seen online
I did end up getting the Lenovo Y32P-30, using it for work mostly. Kvm behaves decently, and the high refresh rate is nice, even for productivity
It has a disgusting amount of ips glow (idk if it’s a model or unit dependent), but I’ve lowered the brightness so it’s sort of ok
Thanks again

I was looking for a monitor for everything: surfing the internet (without getting eye pain) and gaming PC and PS5. After many failed purchase tests (21 gaming monitors 4K 32 inches) I have now found that Acer currently has the best gaming monitors. The X32QFS is a pure gaming monitor. I tried working with it, but my eyes get tired after maybe an hour. I swapped the X32QFS for the X323QKV3 in the hope that it would be suitable for home office. The X323QKV3 has proven to be very easy on the eyes. And it also has very balanced colors. Not comparable to the Samsung Neo G7 and Neo G8, which have plasticky and toxic colors. And the HDR in Windows works very well here too. However, the speed for gaming is not really convincing. Unfortunately. But maybe this monitor is something for you.? The X323QKV3 has very good sharpness, is very bright and yet does not strain the eyes and the monitor has very pleasant and balanced colors. I also had LG, Gygabite, BenQ, Philips and Asus. Only the X323QKV3 and the Philips 32M1N5800A were suitable for surfing and daily work, so easy on the eyes. I will probably have to put 2 monitors on the table. For gaming and office.

I am hopeful this is the case, I at least haven't seen anyone mention that the QFS is a downgrade in any way - so I hope it's at least as good as the FP, just with better local dimming.
Well, please post a comment and let us know what you think if you buy it :)

I'm looking for a monitor to use for PC, Xbox Series X and PS5 gaming... this monitor seems to tick all the boxes at the moment. Just looking for the opinions of fellow gamers that's got/used the monitor.
