First and foremost, I am not selling this vehicle or posting it to get traction. I saw it on the side of the road and couldn’t pass it without checking it out, but I’ve never touched a Miata before so I thought I’d ask around for opinions.

Seems like a really low price, even with the issues listed, and if the smoke is a sign that the engine is bad I feel like you could still turn it into an engine swap build. I just picked up a mustang for a light project car but this almost feels too good to pass up for under 2k. Any thoughts?
