ruzzia is engaging in a lot of minor provocations, and airspace violations are one tried and true method of doing such, for propaganda purposes. putler is all riled up (publicly at least) about the potential of Ukraine using NATO supplied munitions to strike deeper into ruzzia. Of course the fact ruzzia is using ballistic missiles from Iran and NK to strike into Ukraine is not a double standard at all!
So ruzzia hopes that amping up the temperature to support its rhetoric of "doom will befall NATO if it allows Ukraine to defend itself" will take hold somewhere.
It only does if we allow it. However, NATO administrations can see through the bullshit.
Remember those lovely images the other day of F-18s with a boatload of RIM-174s? Those ruzzian planes would be toast if the shit ever got serious, and ruzzia knows it. The range of the 174's is classified - the public figure is 180 miles but the suspicion is the range may be 2x-3x the public figure. Same with the AIM-260.
The forthcoming Block 4 F-35 with its double sized internal mission bay is going to be hell on ruzzia. These will be great for NORAD air dominance. I think the work to upgrade the current F-35s to carry 6 AIM-120s internally is complete? I don't know about F-35s and the AIM-174 or AIM-260 given how secretive the detailed capabilities of Block 4 are at this time. When F-35s suddenly show up in your airspace sprouting long range air to air missiles life is going to be very unpleasant. And ruzzia knows this. So it will provocate, but nothing more. ruzzian bluster.

"Putler," "Ruzzia."
Opinion discarded.

I am discussing it like an adult. We call him Putler because his character is reminiscent of Hitler. We call the country ruzzia as the belief systems mirrors the Nazis. The terminology is common use, but of course you ruzzians don't like it. Not that I care in the slightest. When I served it was the 80's before the Berlin wall came down. ruzzia was the menace then, and sadly it remains such now.
As for being a pussy, I bet the closest you ever came to a courageous moment was watching a movie. I and my fellow officers mocked people like you. Idiots think liberals are scared and have forgotten the maxim "conservatives start wars and liberals finish them". And your certainly not bright enough to know why.

Well said.

Ok Comrade

I loved it when Turkey just shot those Russian fuckers down when they invaded Turkish airspace, every NATO country and ally should do the same when Russia incurs 1 inch into their territory.
Natural_Treat_1437@reddit
Next time, shoot and ask questions afterward . Violating territory. Russian aircraft is doing the same as China does, and it's been done for years.
Charlirnie@reddit
Or do like US and do a coup then call them a partner and install military and guns.
hortlerslover2@reddit
Japan should make a special military incursion to reclaim land that has “always” been culturally Japanese. Russia should respect that.

This is coupled with North Korea ballistic missile launch near Japan. It’s a friendly reminder of Korea and Japan wants to do anything funny. China Russia and North Korea 3 nuclear armed countries ready for them
YardFudge@reddit
Funny how ruzzia buzzing Japan when it’s gunna be China calling in debts and taking huge chunks of ruzzia’s east

Russian maritime surveillance? They don't have a navy anymore so what they gonna do if they do spot a boat? Radio with harsh language?
Illustrious-Being339@reddit
If you know anything about Russia's strategy it has always been to look tougher than you actually are. That's why they're always flying these aircraft around and saying they're going to nuke everyone else. It is just an intimidation game they do.
Everyone else just needs to heed the warning. Best thing these other countries can do is improve their military, stop buying anything from Russia and reduce your oil/gas consumption as much as possible. Japan is a great country to try to shift as much as possible to EVs and phase out fossil fuels.

Don't worry the Baltic fleet is on its way. Just like last time

This is the most underrated and underappreciated comment on this entire post.

https://youtu.be/yzGqp3R4Mx4 This telling of the Russian fleet dust up with Japan tale is pretty good.
Unfair_String1112@reddit
Well, I know what I'm watching for the next 40 minutes. It always reads like something out of one of Pratchett's books so I hope as a spoken delivery it will be even better
melympia@reddit
Radio them and threaten to use nukes. Because the threat of defenestration kinda falls flat on a boat.
