Today was the Family Day at Airbus Toulouse. I had the opportunity to make a visit to my family where I'm working.

First time seeing the the Emirates A350 livery. Where can I sign up to be someone’s long-distance Dutch family member? 😅
SpeedBird31@reddit (OP)
Yes some have been completely plainted and will be soon delivered to Emirates.

I was a volunteer there yesterday, and if the activities were nice, I must say that the organisation was a bit underwhelming compared to the huge number of people present. Great day nonetheless
SpeedBird31@reddit (OP)
Thank you for being a volunteer. Yes, sure, but there were a lot of people attending, and it was comprehensible.

Hot_Negotiation3480@reddit
You gotta love the Beluga, ugly as heck, but equally cool as heck
WiredAndTheSpitfire@reddit
They’re just big happy Airbus bois
Photosynthetic@reddit
That goofy little smile gets me every time.
poemdirection@reddit
Reminds me of megamind
ElectroAtletico2@reddit
Airbus fully supports the IAM strike and wishes for the strike to last for many many years.
4Examples@reddit
does boeing do this? i think they did one last year
VulgarButFluent@reddit
They do
Entire_Insect1811@reddit
I really want to see the Beluga 😔 unfortunately it’s kind of rare to see her.
UW_Ebay@reddit
Damn that looks awesome.
acmoder@reddit
Meanwhile at Boeing… XD
Mauzersmash0815@reddit
Beautiful, wish I could attend
Hennabott96@reddit
I want an Airbus day 😍😭
Go_Jot@reddit
Give me A340 Neo 😤
Dizzy-Amount7054@reddit
The Airbus factory decorations look much better than most of the airline company logos we usually see

Family day open house celebration at Airbus while Boeing workers are on strike… paints a bit of a picture.
And how FUN would it be to go to an open house at Airbus!?
DentateGyros@reddit
I like how the A321 has the bright red Remove Before Flight engine mount cover as if it was possible to do anything without an engine there lol
Capt4inBreadb3ard@reddit
Was there no A380 out?
SpeedBird31@reddit (OP)
No
gloubiboulga_2000@reddit
Oh I wondered why I saw those 3 Airbus flying in formation today!
SubjectiveAssertive@reddit
Do you need a father/husband/boyfriend/brother/son/step-brother? I am available for all those needs at... Whichever date the next Airbus family day is
l3sph@reddit
Ahaha great comment :-)
SpeedBird31@reddit (OP)
Aha the last one in Toulouse was 14 years ago actually so we might have the time to meet before the next one!
l3sph@reddit
14 years ago the subcontractors were invited this one…
Dear_Ad_3437@reddit
That carbon livery on the 350 is a work of art
SpeedBird31@reddit (OP)
Yes! The MSN2 is actually the first aircraft I ever worked on when I started my career at Airbus.
