Used the same 550 strand kit from that post. Knocked this out over the past couple of days. Excellent way to make a boring Honda Fit interior more fun and a good project to tackle with a friend or two.

That’s good work! You have to set it to twinkle though, not flash on and off.

Thanks! Yeah we’re still learning the settings and I have yet to dive into the app. But so far my favorite is the setting that syncs with your music/beat.

How difficult was it? I have been thinking about doing it to my car. I have a little bit of a bigger headliner than you so I would have to scale it up.

It’s not too difficult, just repetitive and a little time consuming. A lot of small steps which are easy but just a couple thousand of them. So set aside a weekend. I’ve removed a headliner before so that part wasn’t too hard for me.

It wasn’t mine either when I first saw it and I would not do this to my main car, but this Fit is truly a project car and one I’m willing to experiment on more. Plus one of my good friends who helped me on this project plans to do this to his car, and this was our practice run before he goes in on his much nicer and newer car.
