Moving to European Country while Working for US Company

I am a US citizen, working for a US company and have been living overseas in Turkey for the last few years. I'm looking to move to another country in the European Union but am having difficulties sorting out the tax requirements and legal working regulations to retain my US-based employment.
Are there good websites and/or services that would help me navigate the complexities I need to consider here? I'm pretty proficient with online research but this topic is pretty complex, changing and specific to each country I research.

Do you have a European passport? Otherwise you will not be able to live in any European country and work. Not unless you quit your US job and a European one sponsors your residence permit

Not true. There are several digital nomad visas.

You can do the croatian digital nomad visa for 1 year. You wont owe taxes at all in Croatia.

There is a digital nomad visa in Italy. I recently stumbled into this service that offers legal support for these situations: https://www.whywaititaly.com/digital-nomad-visa

I work for a Dutch employer of record who sponsored my work visa. But my employer is really an American tech company. The Dutch company does my payroll and benefits. I used to work this way in Canada too. American companies pay better

Cyprus or “The Madeira authorities introduced a digital nomad visa in October after a successful pilot. This allows those over 18 with health insurance, a job offer from a company outside Portugal and a monthly income of at least €2,800 [£2,400] to stay for up to 12 months.”
Malta maybe?

I also advise seeking professional help. You can try your luck asking over at r/ExpatFinance or r/ExpatFinanceTips, but a tax attorney would beat out any advice reddit can give you because they can work directly with you and figure out your specific situation.

You need to look at digital nomad visas for those countries. I know it's illegal in France, for example.

You need to talk to a lawyer who knows their stuff.
