In my area the lowest one is listed at 16,000 - 25,000 Canadian. Some guys has one at 55,000 lol but I doubt that would sell. I bought this for 5300 with an engine problem. Parts are difficult to come by but I have a spare engine from when things were affordable so I am extremely lucky. These engine go for 8-9k now

I'm not sure he thought the balance shaft belt blew, but I confirmed it is okay. When it runs, it has a weird snapping noise but runs okay. It could be a knock, but it sounds weird like valve tick but loud AF. I'm doing a compression test and dropping the oil today. I originally assumed it was a tick from the valves, pulled the cover, and it's all mint condition. Scoped the bores and had no damage whatsoever. *

How is GT7? Did they really remove the single player campaigns? My favorite part was taking cheap cars, building them up, and running them against stuff way out of their league.

I have an embarrassing amount of hours logged in the game and less than one of them is in online races. The single player experience is different from previous entries, with significantly more grinding for credits, but honestly, that’s probably the main reason I’ve kept playing it long after getting to collector level 50 and 1st place in all events. In fact, you have to get to level 50 to unlock engine swaps, which is when cheap car upgrades start getting crazy. Stick a 3S-GTE in an AE86 Trueno, R26B in a Mazda 3, B58 in an E30 M3.

My favorite way to grind credits is to put on an audiobook and do the 700pp 30 minute race at Lemans. The weekly challenges are quite lucrative as well. They’re still putting out new cars and tracks for free as well.

GT Sport was the game without single player (later getting one through an update). GT7 had a completely revamped single player mode just like the original Gran Turismo's.

As a GT fan since day one I think they did a great job and I got the old GT vibes back when playing GT7. It's a very nice game.

Buddy of mine keeps trying to get me to buy a PS5 in gt7 so we can play online together but he constantly complains about the online racing and how there's no offline mode. I think I'll keep my money where it is and keep doing runs on 1 through five. Currently building a garage on GT1 and it's absolutely a blast.

Reading that made me feel really old. I've heard of the steam deck but I still am clueless as to what it is. Guess I'll enable my ADHD superpower and go on a dive.

I quit gaming at GT5 when they burned us with the whole "whatever you earn in the prologue will transfer to the full game" because they took so long to release and then wouldn't let you transfer a damn thing. oh I was so mad.

But yeah I need Pilot Wings and I'll be happy. I have a switch, I've tired getting into it but none of the games have done it for me yet except the new Mario side scroller. I've been unsuccessful at finding snes pilot wings for it, I never played the 64 version. My mother in law has a 64 at her house maybe I'll find it on eBay and try it out

The steamdeack is basically a portable computer with built in "steam os" so it plays games straight from steam. But, because its basically an open computer, you can install emulators on it. It's a bit pricey just for emulators but I've played star wars KOTOR, fallout NV, and a few other games off it natively just like my main PC would but I got to play on the couch... we mostly use it for switch games. Mostly super smash, mario kart, and Mario party.

I grew up with NES but skipped SNES and went straight to N64. Then I had an OG xbox and then went PC. All of the Playstations are my wife's (she was big on NES, SNES, and PS1... shes in the house playing Grandia right now lol).

There’s a ton of good cheap portable emulators out of china nowadays. The steam deck is a damn good option too. PS2 is pretty easy to emulate.

It even affects some of the games in the middle. On GT5 I'm having trouble completing certain things that need specific cars. The used garage no longer updates and the online network no longer exists.

That sucks. I used to LAN GT6 with friends, but when the online support disappeared, that was no longer possible.

The sad thing is that apparently, a true LAN functionality is programmed into the game but was never made available.
