Next time you board, make sure to the let pilots know you've got over 100 hours in Microsoft Flight Simulator 2002 if they need any help. They will really appreciate having someone with that level of expertise to help mentor them.

Yeah no I was thinking more like if pilots have some health issues or something like that you knok the good thing is that I don’t need to start the plane from cold&dark as it would be flying already so my studies are only for AP and Landing, and lets pray I dont need a go around as that’s not on my skill set yet 😅

>Yeah no I was thinking more like if pilots have some health issues No matter how much every aviation fan dreams of this, it won't ever happen that they choose a random flightsimmer over, say, a cabin crew member. For one, it's basically handing the lives of however many people to someone who you haven't ever interacted with and don't know the intentions of, and two, with how much time you'd have up in the air, a cabin crew member is basically comparable to your skill level in terms of what actually matters. Sure you might get to the landing part a little quicker but it would be the exact same. And that relies on something happening to both pilots, because if only one of those have an issue, the other can land it, but if both pilots have an issue then who will get to the cockpit in time - door's locked Basically never gonna happen, not in a thousand years I don't imagine

That’s most likely a page from the flight release.

Cool, the other day I was learning how to start from cold and dark a boeing 737 and its so many things to remember by memory, I thought checklists were a normal thing even for experienced pilots

Flows followed by a checklist are 90% of flying airliners. It’s read and check, mostly, not read and do.

I don't think he would be holding a checklist at that stage. More like paperwork that has to be checks, signed of just using it to confirm something like the route.

Between simming, LiveAtc, and Vatsim I am 85% sure could at least least cover the radios and and turn on the landing lights...maybe even pull the gear handle

If my simming experience is any indication, I would crash. 50% chance I crash into the ground 50% change I crash into the moon.
