Hi guys, Im planning a pc build for work, (Engineer, mainly using Autocad 2d, heavy excel sheets, pdfs, browser etc , and very rarely I'll use sketchup for viewing models only, no modelling or rendering). Here are the recommended graphics & cpu for the softwares I use, which I got from the software websites:
Graphics: 2gb vram or higher
Processor: Intel Core i7 or AMD Ryzen 7 (3.0 GHz or faster, multi-core)
To keep costs as low as possible, I was thinking about going with Ryzen 7 8700g which has radeon 780M graphics card. I also have the option to go with intel 12700f + rtx 3050 if i spend little bit more money. Is going for dedicated graphics the better option? I plan to use this for atleast 5years before upgrading

what is your overall budget for the build?

About 800$. I checked parts compatibility in pcpartpicker.com & it came to around 750$
Im from India so prices for some things might vary slightly depending on where you are from.

I mean Ryzen 8700g should work, you have no where to upgrade from intel 12700, with AM5 (8700g) there will be newer CPUs in the future

Ah ok, I just googled about it, thats helpful. Maybe I can go with the ryzen for now & if the graphics isnt holding up, I can add a gpu later if necessary.

yeah you could do that
