Trying to clear CMOS but...

...the pins are not labeled in an obvious way.
Does anyone recognize what is going on here and how I can reset the CMOS with a short?
I'm not sure which two pins are the ones that need to be touched together because of the diagram not matching the pin structure.

Was the PC unplugged when you performed this action?

What action? I'm asking how to clear the CMOS with the pins provided. I haven't done anything yet

Sorry. I was reading too quickly. Anyway, unplug the PC when you do anything.
I think knowing the exact model of motherboard in the photo might help.
In general I have been having success just removing the battery, pressing and holding the case Power button for 45 seconds, and re inserting the battery. No jumper or screwdriver required.

The problem I'm having is that the computer I just bought will not power on at all. I've tried about everything for troubleshooting, so I think I'm going to return it and get a different one.
Last time I will buy something like that from China I suppose :)

Ugh. Yeah, that's frustrating.
I mean if that's the stage you're at, just lay your screwdriver across all of em :)
Good luck!

I believe you just need to remove the button battery and put it back in to cmos reset

Ok. I've done that already. And the reason I'm doing all of this is that my rig is not getting power.
Tested power unit and it's working fine.
So after having removed the battery without touching any shorts, is it safe to say I have a dead motherboard?
I also tested the power switch and it's good.

Could also be a dead battery

Got a replacement, not the battery

I thought about trying that. I'll do it first thing in the morning when the shops open. I've bought the computer premade, so it is a little strange to have a dead battery on arrival, but I suppose it's possible.
