So I'd like to build an all motor engine to race with or just have a lot of power around the 450 up range I need nothing excessive like 1000hp. I have ruled out any I4 engines because most of them are turbo and have to be mangled to get that kind of power. I also wanted to stray away from V8s but that's unlikely so if it comes down to that I wouldn't mind. I also have to think about what car I'd want to put the engine in and if I want to go for extremely lightweight then a V6 or 6cyl in general would be my best bet.
