Keeping an old personalized license plate Quebec??

I bought my first personalized license plate years ago for my hybrid when I lived in Quebec but now live in Ontario and you can't get personalized licenses for hybrids.. so sad. I love cars and this plate so much so I have it up on my wall with other car stuff memorabilia along with another old license plate from my grandfather's dealership.

I switched over my driver's license from Quebec to Ontario almost a year ago and notified the SAAQ then. But I recently got a letter from the SAAQ which I think is the plate renewal fee. I can't tell if it's an error or if they want me to keep paying for the license plate or return it.. I can't find the answer anywhere on the SAAQ website or the internet so I'm just wondering if anyone knows the answer before I contact them lol. I'm afraid that if I tell them I switched over they'll ask me to return the plate but I really, really wanna keep it.

TL;DR: Anyone know how it works for an old personalized Quebec license plate if you would like to keep it? Are there fees to pay or a process before I contact them?

Thank you!
