How much longer can you wait until what?
Oil doesn't just suddenly stop working, performance degrades gradually over time, increasing wear. How much longer you can wait depends on what consequences you're willing to accept.
Are you ok with your engine exploding? Don't ever change the oil. Want to severely reduce it's lifespan? Wait until it hits 75 k. Want to ensure it's running smoothly for as long as possible? Change the oil as recommended by the manufacturer.
Nobody will be able to tell you precisely how long you can wait before a certain consequence happens, all we can say is that not changing your oil as recommended increases the risk of damage and issues.
If you're worried about it, change the oil right now and don't go over the interval again. Otherwise, accept that you're increasing the risk of issues to a degree that you can't easily define.

Rude much😮🤬

He gave you an honest answer. It’s always better to do it sooner but if you wanna take the risks of blowing your engine you can leave it as long as you want. Its not rude it’s a true answer

Too many missing details, like how long ago was the last oil change, what interval was 45k (3,000 miles? 5,000?), what kind of oil was used, etc.
I’ll just say this. The Rio is not a terribly stout car. If you want it to last you need to take care of it. The longer you wait, the bigger the gamble. Get the oil change.

If you want it to last, you should have gotten a different car.
FTFY

Last oil change was 4/2024 from tire discounters the sticker they put on my car was that the oil change was due at 45k and now it's at 51k didn't drive it much until July because I had to get a second job because my husband fell ill that's why I asked the questionÂ

That still doesn’t tell me enough. You are overdue, that’s all we know. At a minimum I would check the oil to make her it’s not low, since some Rios can consume oil. I’m not sure if time or money is the problem here, but I wouldn’t push your luck with this car.

I understand thanks it's definitely a money issue but I guess I have to make something shake to get it done as soon as possible thanks again

The longer you wait, the higher the probability of a much more expensive problem you really can’t afford. It’s really not in your best interest to ignore this longer

You're overdue. Just this one time isn't a big deal, but make it a habit and the lifespan of your car will be shortened.
