Ok... so how do you verify parental consent? Some form of government ID linking someone to the account so you know who whistleblowers and dissidents are?
Somehow I think this is just the same "protect the children from the internet" rouse that was used to bring in the Australian internet filter that was designed to protect copyright above anything else.
And before anyone says it will never happen that way, [Australia just recently jailed a military whistleblower for leaking documents on Australian war crimes in Afghanistan] (https://www.bbc.com/news/world-australia-69006714). He got punished while those committing the crimes did not.

An excellent idea, way too much cash wanting to defeat any limits. Then you have to wonder if they'll tie a level of censorship authority into the bill. Still it would be great to get kids OFF their phones.
