Have you ever gotten crap from management/co-workers about not being emotionally invested in your job?

The reason I ask this is because I was very emotionally invested in very, very entry-level tech job. I was hourly and I came in nearly every day and did tons of OT. The job thanked me by laying me off. I wasn't even there a year. Now that I'm older and wiser (cynical) I refuse to get emotionally invested into any job. I see jobs as a way to get a paycheck and build a skillset. That's it. No loyalty whatsoever. I'll go where the money and good working environments are. So have any of you ever gotten guff from management or from someone who drank the company kool-aid for not being "excited" enough about working at that particular place?
