Hello everyone!
Do any of you gear heads in here know where I might be able to find unibody frame parts to repair my newly acquired project? I live in the salty hell where cars come to die that is the northeastern U.S.
Thank you guys! And wish me luck, I'm gonna need all I can get to get claptrap back on the road in a year or so after restoring her.

a lot of good info on z31performance forums.

I had one of these! The aftermarket t-top gaskets were more than I could afford, and you’re gonna want them outside of the desert sw.

I actually got lucky on this because the gaskets were replaced recently! One of the first things I looked at because I have a firebird that had issues at one point.

Excellent find then!!! I worry about excellent instillation and floor panels. But this doesn’t sound like your first rodeo!

I've been into cars and anything with an engine for years but this will be my first full restoration. I'm terrified but this should be fun! Thank you for the kind words!

I find a beaten parts car is the way to go. Find one that has the parts you want (transmission, engine, plastic bits, trim bits, glass).

That's what I was thinking too. It seems to be the more practical approach and the most budget friendly too.

Saves time shagging parts too

Nissan purged their inventory of Z31 chassis parts many years ago, so the only options for good metal is to find a parts car from some place in the SW US or fabricate your own.
Also +1 for Sean Jarman, he is the GOAT for Z31 parts.
300zxpartsforyou.com is another good source but he is on extended pause until the end of the year.

I kinda figured that was going to be the case but I've always loved the look of these cars and thought I'd take a chance on it. Thanks for the info!
