Dash cam reccomendations?

I got my first car a few months back and since then I've been wanting a dash cam but I have no idea what I can get, at what price points and stuff.
Any reccomendations for which ones I should look into?
Needs to be front and rear, good quality, easy to use, motion sensor and such. Basically anything a dash cam needs to be effective.
Budget will probably max out at roughly 100 quid but idm looking higher If there's something really good available.
UK btw 👍

The best dash cams for capturing high-quality 4K footage, which increases your chances of seeing details like number plates and road markings, include models with night vision for better performance in low light, polarizing filters to reduce glare, and GPS sensors that log speed and location data. Some cams also come with apps to view and download footage, plus parking protection features to record incidents even when you're away from the car. The Miofive S1 4K Dash Cam is a great option, although some prefer the Nextbase iQ 4K. Initially, I wanted to suggest the Hivemapper Dash Cam, but many are still waiting on delayed deliveries. This dash cam incentivizes users, but in the meantime, you can use the Natix app on your smartphone, which is free and a solid alternative to hivemapper in this case.

do you need Park mode monitoring ?

Preferably yes, something I can hardwire to be working 24/7

I love my red tiger and so do my sister and mother. Days worth of recording time

Will look into it, thank you!
Is there a specific model or just the brand in general?

Amazing thank you!
This one is currently almost half price on Amazon so it's incredibly tempting 😅

It's been on sale for months
Like I said it works great and it's already saved my sister's ass from a lawsuit when her car got hit while parked at college a few months ago.
You can also disable the GPS feature but slipping a piece of paper in between the camera and the mount.

/r/dashcams is a better bet

Will ask there, thank you!

I recommend watching the Dashcams Lessons channel on YT. They are compilations of things captured on dash cams, and many times the name and brand of camera are in the clips. You'll be able to see for yourself the difference between Thinkware vs Garmin vs Blackvue for example. Then make a list and start price shopping.

Great idea, thank you!!

I know this is above what you asked, but i run Vantrue N4 on my 3 vehicles. Runs ~$350 USD, front rear and cab, has basically every feature and runs simply off of cig port (or hardwire if you wish they have a kit).

Thank you!
I'll definitely look into it despite being out of budget.
If anything were to ever happen, it would pay itself off immediately so would be worth it

Why not install the Natix Drive app to earn rewards while driving? Besides using your own dashcam, you can install the app for additional revenue opportunities.
