24" 1440p or 27" 1440p

Hey guys. I have so-so vision and I'm in the decision of choosing a monitor. As some of you might already know, there are two great 24" 1440p monitors that you can probably get. The AOC Q24G2A or the KOORUI GP01. (same panel) My question is, for someone with a bad eyesight, which would be better, a 24" 1440p monitor closer (higher PPI) or a 27" 1440p monitor a bit farther? What is your experience with the 24" monitor? I read that the 24" monitors are pretty pixel dense and they look a bit closer to 4k

YUP I think so it‘s a rx 7900 xt ( that thing is a beast ) and a ryzen 5 7500f ;) sooooo whatchu sayin?

currently an RX 6600XT with a 5600x. Thanks to upscaling, it'll do just fine but I plan on upgrading the GPU in a few months

Interesting that they are still selling 24” 1440p high refresh rate monitors. I thought they ceased to exist years ago There’s a reason there’s not too many, and it’s because it’s an unpopular choice. Majority of people will say that 27” 1440p is a sweet spot, and I have to agree. If your face isn’t up close to the monitor, the pixelation isn’t that easy to see. It’s very clear. I don’t see the need for 1440p at 24” with that kind of clarity.

I upgraded from 32in 1080p tv I used with early builds to a 27in 1440p and later a 32in 1440p (kept 27in as secondary). It took some getting used to, but I enjoy the 32in 1440p a lot. When I first got it, fps games could be a bit hard to absorb all the screen periphery, but I found a sweet spot with fov settings and monitor placed a bit further away than usual. I love the 32in for any single player game, can be very immersive. I don't feel pixel density suffers.

27" I'd the sweet spot for 1440p. I would not go any smaller. With 32" you're losing alot of pixel density so the jump from 1080p isn't as big.

27” 1440p, or even a 32” 1440p. For bad eyesight, I would think you would want bigger text, not sharper text. For that, the bigger the screen the better, while keeping at a resolution your GPU can likely handle well, like 1440p.
