1st Class Medical ADHD Success Story (FAST TRACK)

Writing this here since I successfully got my 1st class medical with a prior ADHD background. Background: Diagnosed with ADHD during 2nd Grade by school psychologist and was given ADHD medication which I believe was Adderall. Decided to make flying my career and Im currently at an Aviation program at University. I was off adderal for about 10 years and I havent had problems without it. Medical Story itself. I first applied for Medxpress back in March while only putting ADHD on Medxpress as I have no other conditions that would affect my ability to fly. Then In April, I went to my actual AME visit where I had no problems except I was deferred and was told by my AME that I would most likely be deferred and was going to be given a letter in the mail for my deferral. 3 weeks went by I got a letter in the mail saying that they needed more information and that I would be going through the new FAST TRACK process. For the Fast-track process, you do NOT NEED a HIMS Psychologist. you just need a regular psychologist who deals with ADHD. I talked to 2 HIMS psychologists one was a neuro and the other was a regular psychologist who both wanted a stupid insane amount of money just for Fast Track. I had problems for 2 months with getting a psychologist who actually filled out the paperwork and did an examination for legal reasons as they didn't want to go involved with the FAA. Finally, by July I found a Psychologist was willing to help me and I got all the paperwork needed like IEPS, original diagnosis, and Grades. and other random items, like driver's license records. The psychologist realized in probably about 2 minutes that I actually didn't not have it and did an additional questionnaire to confirm, which confirmed that I did not. By the time of the final visit I had to call my Regional Flight Surgeon was was extremely helpful and got me a 30-day extension to the end of August. I finally mailed off my paperwork to the FAA with all the information and paperwork the FAA needed. It took about 4 weeks for the FAA to give me a response which I found out through my Regional Flight Surgeon who told me over the phone. Finally Yesterday I received my First Class medical with NO Limitations and nothing else. Final Note: I know a lot of you guys are scared looking at reddit who faced similiar problems but as long as you dont struggle with doing things without medication you will probably be fine. dont let reddit scare you into not trying. If you have any questions please let me know in comments
