For the ppl saying "it was normal" eh(?) Yeah there never were friendly conqueres but the conquistadors arrived for slaves and expanded for gold. They burned the codexes and destroyed almost all the artifacts. The comienda systhem was designed to make conquistadors estate owners, estates worked by enlsaved natives, they partly pushed inland because too many natives had died to work. Cortez had a famously large slave harem. And the colonilization of the new world holds incredible cruelty in quantity and quality.
