Pcle cable issues need advice on what to plug

Hello,

Since this is my first build I am stressed and worried about every little thing,

So my issue today is, I got a PSU RM1000X by corsair and I have an Aorus 4080 super, the GPU requires me to plug 3 6+2 pins to the adapter, but when I check the PSU cables I don't find any 6+2 direct cable, I have 3 Pcle 6+2 but they all have a pigtail and I know I shouldn't be using a pigtail.

So in I plug them without pluging the pigtails will that work even if it will look ugly?

Should I look for a buy direct cables knowing I might not find Corsair cables anywhere near me and the PSU book warns for using other cables than corsair

Do you have any other advice or solution that might help ?

I just zip tie the pig tails to the main cable for a cleaner look.

The 8 pin/4+4 can't be used, that's the EPS cable to power the CPU. Usually goes into the motherboard at the top left.

And the pigtails cable will work as direct cable perfectly if I don't use the pigtails? right?

Yes using 3 of those pigtail cables without actually usiing the pigtails would be the best solution.

i may sound stupid now, but the pigtail being there doesn't affect anything, I know it doesn't work this way but i have this stange idea in my mind that the power will travel through the pigtail and deadend xd resulting in some of the power being lost, I know it's crazy but can't help it

It won't do anything because there's no closed circuit. If that's how things worked every wall socket without a plug in it would result in losing power.

Thank you for the answer, i wish i could get that cable but corsair doesn't ship here and if i get it through amazon it will cost me 64$
