Hazmat TWIC disqualifiers?

I'm going through a few things with my ex and may need to plead to a harassment charge as opposed to risking Contempt of a Court Order verdict. The whole thing is crap, the original restraining order was not based on any sort of physical violence, and the possibility of dismissal is also possible. If I am forced to plead, "harassment" is considered a "Petty Disorderly Person" conviction. I just got my CDL A and want my Hazmat endorsement and TWIC. Would a Petty Disorderly affect this?

I don't think it will but the restraining order might make job hunting more difficult. Now if it falls under domestic violence then you'd be having a much harder time.
I'd hold off until you are finished with the courts. After which you can look up the nearest location to get screened. You can do walk ins at some locations, and you'll fill out a paper. There you will list your convictions and any relevant information. You can keep the documentation you received from the courts to reference aswell.
You'll receive an email saying they approved you and you'll receive a letter in the mail. I'm not certain if they will send a email if denied, but you WILL RECEIVE a letter explaining the actions you can take or how to appeal.

This is a pretty bold claim. Do you have sources to back it up? If companies are hiring felons. I dont think you can make this claim.

I know my carrier won't hire anyone with a DV charge or felonies or DUIs or possession of a controlled substance or espionage just for a few examples.
Companies are allowed to use their own discretion though, I'm sure western express will hire him with no issues but then the hm becomes kinda pointless as I don't think they are authorized to haul placard loads.

Doesn't look like harassment is on the list. The disqualifiers for HM/TWIC seem to all be felonies, so I'd say you're probably good.
