Dude does what he wants. He was in a band called the Pizza Revolution and would respond to any Home Alone questions with a deadpan "we're here to talk about the Pizza Revolution". Then, he started making a wrestling podcast.

I love Saved. He was in American Horror Story Red Tide a few years ago and he was excellent. I wish he would come on the show again. I think I read once that he never fully considers himself retired from acting. He’s open to taking things sporadically if they really appeal to him.

This picture floats around a lot. And he don’t look great in it.
But I’ve been following celebrity gossip since they were magazines you get at the grocery store. He never really seemed as messed up as this ONE photo made him seem.
He has that pizza band, was still in movies (party monster is one of my favorites).
He really didn’t seem as cracked out as this ONE photo made him out to be.
I’ve listened to podcasts that also confirm my theory.
“Inside of you” (or maybe me?) has a great episode with him in it.
He just never took himself too seriously and had a really weird childhood with crappy parents. That doesn’t make him a crackhead.

he didn't seem to fall as deep into the drug hole as other child stars, but I used to go to his DJ shows randomly in NYC -- a friend bartender at the venue-- and he was def not OK in the early 2010s.

I used to also do light drugs at raves and party hard on the weekend when I went out.
Otherwise I was still working or in school and generally a non cracked out very functional human otherwise.
I was top of the class winning awards and working at a fairly elite, high stress job back then too. My boss from then still answers my messages in less than 24 hours when I need a reference and it’s been 15 years ago since I worked there.
Partying hard when out does not = total wreck.

I just think it’s crap this ONE photo is constantly used to shit on him and pretend he was some cracked our child star who had to be saved by his current love and becoming a parent.
I’ve never seen any other photos used when people try to play the “he was doing terrible” narrative thing.
Always this same photo, nothing else.
It’s just pushing a false narrative IMO.
I’m not trying to argue about it. But it’s been a few years of seeing this story play out online, all based on one photo.

I just saw that he's coming to my city (Evansville, IN) for a showing of Home Alone and a Q&A afterwards this Dec.
I went to one last year with Chevy Chase for Christmas Vacation and the place was sold out (around 5k person venue) and Chevy was great.
So I guess I'll be going to Home Alone this year. It was a ton of fun.
