What city/area has the worst selection of fast-casual pizza restaurants?

I am a pizza restaurant entrepreneur from Buffalo, New York and I am looking to open a fast-casual pizza restaurant in a city that doesn't have a 'pizza identity'.
Have you lived in a city/area that only has chains or wood fired fancy places? Tell me about it!

Los Angeles. It’s all fancy wood fired pizzas with cauliflower crust.
Chicago and NYC for the win.

Not everywhere needs a “pizza identity” though. Some places are happy with Pizza Hut.

This is a very early step in my market research. There are some places that are happy with pizza hut, others that would take a lot of pride in having a national-recognized pizza of their own.
